André Kurmann is a Professor of Economics at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and an Adjunct Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an associate editor at the Journal of Monetary Economics, serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Federal Statistical Research Data Center, and is a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Drexel, Kurmann worked as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. (2011-2013); as a visiting associate professor in the finance department of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (2008-2011); and as an assistant and associate professor at the economics department of the Université du Québec à Montréal (2002-2008).
